Ambrette is an aromatic plant that belongs to Malvaceae the family. The other common name of Ambrette seed include Abelmoschus moschatus, Hisbiscus abelmoschus, Annual hibiscus, Bamia Moschata, Galu Gasturi, Muskdana, Musk mallow, Musk okra, Musk seeds, Ornamental okra and Rose mallow seeds.
